Contacting the EPA

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is headquartered in Washington, D.C., but also has ten different regional offices throughout the U.S. that focus specifically on enforcing and maintaining environmental protections in those areas. In addition, each regional office also serves Indian tribes located within their area. For instance, Region 10 in the northwest corner of the country serves 269 different tribes. Use the following contact information, if you have questions about a specific activity taking place in your neighborhood or state, if you want to report a dangerous or environmentally unfriendly act, or if you want to learn more about the environmental measures being taken to protect you.
